Well, I’m alive, in case you were wondering.
And so are all six children which is a major BONUS, right?
These little ones have literally been playing since they arrived and they’re having a grand ol’ time together.
Mmmm, most of them are, anyway.
We had thought maybe that there’s be a Toy Showdown between Creux and Dylan (who is almost two) but we miscalculated the components there.
It’s actually between Creux and GAVIN, who is three, and is far less “moldable” by Creux’s preferred standards.
(Meaning, he doesn’t just let go of a toy in the process of being swiped.)
So far, we’ve been able to redirect them pretty successfully but by tomorrow I fear there might be bloodshed.
All in all though, things are going great and we’re enjoying their company!
Yesterday while I napped with the toddlers, Charlie and Angie were able to squeeze in some one-on-one time as she joined him while he worked for a few hours.
And tonight, we’re going to try and head out for a little bit–just the three of us.
IF I can dig deep and make it through the nausea, that is.
Interestingly, the vomiting has ceased but the nausea has quadrupled.
I sleep–a lot, and when I’m not sleeping, I’m thinking about how I can work it so that I CAN be sleeping again.
When Angie arrived, I was true to my non-cleaning word and I was snoozing in the fetal position in my dark, dark bedroom when her gang marched through the front door.
It was a much more relaxing welcoming than ever before, one I enjoyed very much! :)
And you know what?
The world did not stop turning because of scattered toys and piles of mail.
Who knew??
I’ve not been at the top of my photography game lately but I have managed to pop off a few shots over the last couple of days.
So here’s what we’ve been up to:
Grandpa stopped by late night on Thursday…and we heard the pitter-patter of little feet, coming down to say hello:
Creux checked out the World’s Biggest Stuffed Dog, brought along on vacation by his cousins:
Dylan, aka “The Baby” as coined by Creux (who is definitely feeling his big, bad age of two when compared to his six month younger cousin):
Creux taught Naughty Things, like how to escape from one’s crib:
They learned that caged play really IS a lot of fun (like I’d been telling them from my spot on the bed.):
The best part of day-long sickness? Lots of opportunities to snuggle.
Greer has a new Champion of her Heart and it’s Grandpa!
And one big happy family photo:

Love that picture of you and Creux playing in bed! You are so right about that being the best part!
Glad you guys are having a nice visit. One of the best parts of the holidays is spending time with the people we love :)

What a great time it looks like everyone had. I love the one of you and Creux… He is such a cuddle bug!
