Bio: Blah. I get so sick of this bio crap. If you're reading right now, you've probably been reading for awhile so you know which crazy lady I am. I have four kids, happily homeschool, go a little nuttier every day... I'll do better on this at a later date. Probably much later. Whatever.

Tales From The Yukon

Posted by: Angi  :  Category: Creux, Fall Fun, Greer, Kids At Play, Soccer Rocks, The Littles

This was the WORST weathered fall soccer season that I can remember.
It was colder than average and it rained A LOT.
I was starting to feel like Mother Nature had a copy of my game schedule, Chas’ travel one in particular, and planned her most cruddiest days accordingly.
What I ever did to her, I don’t know, but I’d like NEVER to do it again.

On this day, we were lucky enough to not have game over-laps (it happened only about four times the whole season) and Charlie was able to join us out in Newark.
This worked beautifully because he was able to stand on the sidelines in support of Chas while I nearly lost my damn mind locked in the car with the Littles.

We had fun but an hour is a long, long, LONG time to wing it, fun-wise :)
But…here’s what one blustery, cold, early October game day looked like from the inside of my traveling Crazy Wagon:

We shared the front-seat.
YAY.

IMG_6361

We snack rummaged. And rummaged.

IMG_6366

We went a little bananas.

IMG_6368

We called OnStar.

IMG_6370

We vamped it up.

IMG_6372

We read sheet music. (???)

IMG_6374

And enjoyed it immensely.

IMG_6376

We grew to hate our clothing. (That’s an Ed Hardy, PUNK!)

IMG_6377

IMG_6378

We abused our freedom.

IMG_6379

IMG_6382

We said “cheese.”

IMG_6387

We ransacked the car. RANSACKED it.
It looked like we’d been robbed when he was through!

IMG_6389

We found what we wanted and finally gave OnStar and the lights and the radio and the automatic windows and the seat controls and the heat controls and the “beep beep” horn AND MOMMY a rest.

WHEW!

I agree with you about the weather this soccer season. This was our first time with anyone in soccer but everyone told me not to do spring because of the weather. I’m ready for summer. I fear it’s going to be a LONG winter!!!
Cute pics, and love your captions.
