I’ve been a busy, busy girl today.
It was my first on my own with all five kids.
Clearly I survived.
I did, however, just take a Tylenol for a massive headache :)
Our friends, the Harmons, are arriving later this week so I thought I would try a short stint on my own.
It was…as you would imagine it might be.
Five kids is not for the weak of mind, body, or spirit.
Or patience.
Or for those who crave peace and quiet.
Or for those who need more than five minutes and 13 seconds to pull oneself together.
You can pretty much forget about bathroom breaks or eating.
And if you can’t put your best game face on, you’re dead in the water.
I learned all of that in just one day!
Despite the near constant Mommy Juggling that I did, I STILL managed to find time to whip out my camera.
DUH.
I didn’t give birth and then become a whole new camera-less person, you know.
Plus, she’s two weeks old today so it was a milestone sort of day for more reasons than the fact that I managed to claw my way through it relatively unscathed. (Headache be damned.)
There’s an update on her over on Expectant.
Here’s my darling, captured in photos throughout this long, long, LONG day…
Crappy exposure here as I used no flash in the mirror.
But she’s wide-eyed and you can really tell what she looks like in this photo:
OF COURSE, it’s blurry.
Welcome to my day.
My girls!
I find her absolutely irresistible.
Yep.
Irresistible.
